Notes / Caution
Rx - SCHEDULE H PRESCRIPTION DRUG - To be sold by retail on prescription of Registered Medical Practitioner only. For subcutaneous use only - Do not inject intravenously or intramuscularly - Rotate injection site thigh, abdomen, arm, buttock - Check blood sugar regularly. Suspension - Resuspend by rolling vial gently 10 times before use - Do not shake vigorously. Use only 40 IU insulin syringe - Do not interchange with 100 IU/ml. Carry sugar for low blood sugar. May cause hypoglycemia low sugar, injection site reaction, lipodystrophy, weight gain. If sweating, tremor, hunger, fainting - take sugar immediately. Caution in kidney, liver disease. Do not use if cloudy after resuspension or particles stuck. STORE AT 2°C TO 8°C - DO NOT FREEZE - Protect from light - Keep vial in carton - Once opened use within 6 weeks if kept below 30°C.
