Waxiklin Ear Drops by Elan Pharma contains Paradichlorobenzene IP, Benzocaine IP, Chlorbutol IP and Turpentine Oil IP - Complete ear wax removal formula. Paradichlorobenzene & Turpentine Oil soften hard ear wax, Chlorbutol acts as antiseptic & preservative, Benzocaine gives local pain relief in ear due to wax pressure. Used for hardened ear wax, ear blockage due to wax, kaan ka mail, difficulty hearing due to wax, ear pain & itching due to wax impaction. Notes / Caution
For external ear canal use only - Do not swallow. Do not use if eardrum perforated (kaan ka parda phata ho), ear discharge with pus, severe ear pain with fever, known allergy to Benzocaine, Paradichlorobenzene. Do not use for long periods without ENT advice. If burning, severe irritation, rash, hearing loss worsens stop & consult ENT. Do not insert pin, bud forcefully to remove wax - may push deeper or injure. Store below 30°C, keep tightly closed, protect from light. Keep out of reach children. Elan original Waxiklin. If wax not removed after 5 days consult ENT for ear washout. Avoid water entry in ear during treatment. Not for ear infection alone - wax removal only.
